Editor: Susan L. Fischer, PhD sfischer@bucknell.edu Susan
L. Fischer, PhD, is Professor Emerita of Spanish and Comparative Literature at
Bucknell University, where she has long incorporated Gestalt
perspectives into the classroom. She completed the Postgraduate
Intensive Training Program at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland while
she was a Visiting Scholar in the
Department of Psychology at McGill University, Montreal. Subsequently,
she participated in a European Summer Residential Program sponsored by
Gestalt Associates Training, Los Angeles (GATLA) and in workshops organized by
the Gestalt International Study Center. Fluent in Spanish and French, Dr. Fischer has lived for extended periods
in Spain, France, and England, where she conducts research on early
modern Spanish theatre and Shakespeare in performance.
Founding Editor: Joseph P. Melnick, PhD
gestaltrev@aol.com Joseph Melnick, PhD, is a clinical and organizational psychologist who lives in Portland, ME, where he maintains a private practice. He has a passion for training and teaching worldwide, and is co-chair of the Gestalt International Study Center's Cape Cod Training Program, where he teaches in both the clinical and organizational areas. He also enjoys writing and is currently completing manuscripts on group supervision, love and commitment, the myth of closure, and the concept of contempt.

Liv Estrup, MA, has been in private practice in Santa Monica, California since 1971. She is a faculty member of Gestalt Associates Training Los Angeles and Co-authored "Supervision: A Collaborative Endeavor" with Rita Resnick, Ph.D. Liv's passion for photography and special interest in Gestalt theory, training, and supervision led to the creations of What's Behind the Empty Chair? a video of Gestalt theory and methodology. liv@livestrup.com
Jon Frew, PhD, ABPP, is a professor at Pacific University's School of Professional Psychology
in Portland, Oregon. He is one of the directors and founders of Gestalt Therapy
Training Center Northwest. He maintains a private practice and offers
consultation and training services to organizations. He has been a member of the editorial board of the Gestalt Review since
its inception in 1997.
Rick Maurer, MA, is an Organization and Systems Development faculty at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. He is a consultant to organizations on change management and author of Beyond the Wall of Resistance. rick@beyondresistance.com
Sonia March Nevis, Ph.D., is co-founder of Gestalt International Study Center. From 1977 to 2006, she was Chair of the Cape Cod Training Program, and is now the senior faculty member. Susan Roos, PhD,
 is in private practice as a psychotherapist in
Arlington
, Texas, serves as adjunct faculty at Union Institute and University (UIU
), and is President of The Dallas Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology for 2006-2007. She has authored Chronic Sorrow: A Living Loss (Brunner-Routledge, 2002), as well as journal articles, book chapters, and book
reviews.
Gary Yontef, PhD, ABPP, 
has been a Gestalt therapist since training with Frederick Perls and James Simkin in 1965. Formerly on the UCLA Psychology Department Faculty and Chairman of the Professional Conduct Committee of the L.A. County Psychological Association, he is in private practice in Santa Monica. He is a co-founder of the Pacific Gestalt Institute, past president and faculty chair of GTILA, and has published numerous articles and chapters on Gestalt therapy theory, practice, and supervision and is the author of Awareness, Dialogue and Process: Essays on Gestalt Therapy.
